「音ラボ」は、顧客が求める幅広い要望に対応するために高性能な「建築音響製品の開発」や「音環境の可視化」など、あらゆる建築物に対応した音響設計を可能とする「シミュレーション技術の向上」など、さらなる音の技術開発を進めるための施設です。建築材料や構造の基本的な音響性能を測定する「残響室」、「無響室」、「箱型実験室」に加え、構造躯体にCLTを用いた「木造実験室」を備えており、各実験室には高性能の実験・測定装置を設置ることで音に関わる様々な性能評価や実験を行うための施設です。本プロジェクトは施工を担当した株式会社ナイカイアーキット様への設計協力として参加させていただきました。
The Sound Lab is a facility dedicated to advancing sound technology development. It enables high-performance “development of architectural acoustic products” and “visualization of sound environments” to meet diverse customer demands, along with “improved simulation technology” for acoustic design applicable to all types of buildings. In addition to a reverberation chamber, an anechoic chamber, and a box-type laboratory for measuring the fundamental acoustic performance of building materials and structures, it features a timber laboratory utilizing CLT for the structural frame. Each laboratory is equipped with high-performance experimental and measurement devices, making it a facility for conducting various performance evaluations and experiments related to sound. We participated in this project as a design collaborator for Naikai Architects Co., Ltd., who handled the construction.
